RESEARCH

Genetic Consolidation and Climate Adaptation

The European plantation phase is preceded by structured botanical research.

Genetic Base

Approximately 5,000 plants cultivated under continental climate exposure.

Selection criteria:

  • vegetative strength
  • root architecture stability
  • structural uniformity
  • pruning recovery response
  • leaf density

Climate Exposure

Field-tested under natural winter cycles.

Observed tolerance:

  • frost events down to approximately −22°C
  • full dormancy recovery
  • preserved structural integrity

This confirms compatibility with Northern Italian conditions.

Laboratory Phase (2026)

Planned evaluations:

  • active compound screening
  • biochemical stability
  • vegetative consistency

Purpose: identification of 1–2 elite genotypes.

Clonal Phase (2027)

  • controlled in vitro multiplication
  • genetic stabilization
  • uniform batch preparation
  • plantation-ready material

The European plantation phase will therefore be biologically consolidated.

The research structure ensures long-term productivity and climate resilience.
